GEISHA
This is my third activity about geishas. There is a reading activity as well as a listening activity. The video is a bit different from the listening activity - it is shorter. You can use the three activities in an integrated way, or you can choose the one(s) more suitable to your students! Anyway, I hope you enjoy using the activities as much as I did devising them! Your feedback is always welcome!

Kennedy´s speech;" Ich bin ein Berinner"
This is one of the listenings I give to my students in the beginning of the year.I first give them a short reading about Kennedy and his speech and then the listening. Most of the words to choose from are nonsense but it makes them very proud that they can understand a president´s authentic speech so early!I advice them to write what they hear, the sound of it even if they don´t understand the meaning.Or I give the handout and ask them to try to quess what word is missing and then the listening. And of course it is also a good piece for a discussion about the Second World War.
