PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE     Yesterday, Sofia went to a surprise party.  It was Dex's grandma's birthday.   When Sofia arrived everyone  waiting for her.  She was very surprised and happy.  During the party, I was  chess with Dex.  His great-grandmother and grandfather  dancing. Dex's father was  cake and his mother   photos. His great-grandmother  drinking lemonade and his uncle  making snacks.  We  having lots of fun.     ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It was a rainy day.  I walking in the woods near my house when I tripped and fell.  I standing up and was clean the mud off my clothes when my friend called me.  He laughed when he saw my muddy clothes.  He was still when he slipped and fell too.  It was my turn to laugh.   After he got up and cleaned himself, we starting to walk back home when we saw something sticking out of the ground.  It round and brown.  It was a ceramic jar.  We cleaning it when a fairy flew out.  We got such a fright that we dropped the jar on the ground and ran back home.  We never saw the fairy again.
