PART 1
We use Present Continuous for the following purposes:
  1. To describe an action that takes place at the moment of speaking.
  2. To describe an action that takes place at a period of time (to stress that it is not a usual situation and in  general things are differnt).
  3. To describe our negative attitude towards an action.
  4. To describe future plans.
  5. To describe graphs (as the action is in process).
 Write the numbers explaining the basis for using present continuous.

1.    The neighbor’s dog is always barking at night.

2.    Are you writing composition?

3.    He is constantly talking. I wish he would shut up.

4.    According to the information given in this  graph the number of people addicted to smoking is decreasing.

5.    They are not watching television right now.

6.    You are learning for your exams this month.

7.    You are not watching TV at the moment.

8.    I am seeing my dentist tomorrow.

9.    The number of the employees leaving the company after five years is increasing.

10. I am reading the book my cousin has lent me.

11. My cousin is living in Russia at the moment.

 
There are some verbs that are not usually used in Continuous tenses we call them - stative verbs. If you consider that a verb is not used in Continuous tense, then tick the box -a. stative .
Some verbs change their meaning and thus are both stative and dynamic, so then you have to tick the box next to -c. depending on the meaning  .
If a verb can be used in Continuous tenses, then tick the box- b. dynamic
  Determine if a verb can be used in Continuous tense or not.
If it cannot, then leave the box empty. If it can, tick the box.
