WHERE vs. WERE
past of be (ex. We were eating, now we are done)
= at, in, or to what place (ex. Where is the school?)
Were is the past tense of the verb be, where is used when talking about a location (reminder here is inside of where).
Using only the words WERE and WHERE complete these sentences.
1. Do you know
I left my glasses?
2. This morning we
playing in the snow.
3. Jill put the books
the other books are.

5 & 6. The bookmark fell out and the teacher asked "Does anyone remember
