LESSON 4: Making fun of the art world

Objective: expressing pressure on others

Imagine you post a comment on twitter about Banksy’s last prank. Complete the sentences with the structure: want  + someone + TO + verb. Do not forget to conjugate the verbs!

Banksy just (want / people/ buzz)  about his prank! He (want / people/ react) and to mock the world of art. He (want/people/understand)  that art is not about money. At the auction, Banksy (want / the journalists / believe) that there was an accomplice. But there was none! He (not want / people / realise)  that there was something abnormal about the painting. He certainly (no want / his artworks / be reserved) for an elite. It is quite contradictory but Banksy’s prank was a way to raise money and make profit!
