Objectives:
  • Talking about experiences (has/have + past participle = present perfect)
  • Talking about past activities that continue in the present (has/has + been + v-ing = present perfect continuous)
  • Expression permission (enable to , allow to)

1. Complete this WWOOFer's testimony on wwoof.ca with the verbs in the present perfect.

Hi! My name is Wes Davies and I have been living, working, and WWOOFing at Chuckleberry Farm for two months and WWOOFing means a lot to me!
Firstly, I (meet)  a lot of people since my arrival. The community on the farm is a like a family to me. We (share)  love and laughter and it was hard for me to see some of them go. Secondly, WWOOFing (enable) me to enjoy the outdoors and to discover new places. It (allow)  me to appreciate the beauty of nature and to get valuable farming experience. Last but not least, WWOOFing (enable)   me to grow on a personal level because it (enable)  me to step out of my comfort zone, to take risks, to push my limits, and to discover who I really am.

2. Now, pay attention to the verb form in the following sentences and answer the questions:
