Expressing agreement

We have two ways to express our agreement.

If we agree with a positive statement, we use

so + auxiliary verb + subject.

e.g. A: I like classical music.

B: So do I.

If we agree with a negative statement, we use

neither/nor + auxiliary verb + subject.

e.g. A: I don’t like watching horror films.

B: Neither do I.

Be careful! There are words that express negative. The following words are the most common used ones: nobody, none, nothing, no one, nowhere, nothing, seldom, rarely, scarcely, barely, hardly, deny, fail, never, only, unless, without, etc.

Now fill in the sentences with the correct form of the words. Don’t forget about the grammar.
