Exercise is Essential for Healthy Pets

Humans and animals require exercise for cardiovascular health, and walking is usually the most frequently recommended exercise. It also helps keep weight at proper levels.
Dogs especially should be walked daily. But other animals have similar requirements, too. Walking is one way for your pet to develop better social skills. Meeting new animals and new people is good obedience training for your pet. The more exposure you are able to provide, the better socialized your pet will become.
Mental exercise is important, too. The new board game for dogs, My Dog Can Do That! is an excellent way for owners to exercise their dogs mental and obedience readiness.
The main thing is to find ways to provide you and your pet with physical and mental exercise. Remember, too, that while physical exercise is important for the body, mental stimulation is equally important for the brain.
