Example:
Last year she was 22, so she is 23 now.
 
  1. Today the weather  nice, but yesterday it  very cold.  
  2. I  hungry.  Can I have something to eat?  
  3. I feel fine this morning, but I  very tired last night.  
  4. Where  you at 11 o'clock last Friday morning?  
  5. Don't buy those shoes.  They  vey expensive.  
  6. I like your new jacket.   it expensive?  
  7. "Where  the children?"  "I don't know.  They  here ten minutes ago." 
 
Write was / wasn't / were / weren't.
 
Example:
We weren't happy with the hotel.  Our room was very small, and it wasn't very clean.
 
  1. Bill  at work last week because he  sick.  He's better now. 
  2. Yesterday  a holiday, so the banks  closed.  They're open today.
  3. " Kate and John at the party?"  "Kate  there, but John ." 
  4. "Where are my keys?"  "I don't know.  They  on the table, but they're not there now."

Write quesstions.  Use the words in parenthesis in the correct order + was / were.
 
Example:
(late / you / this morning / why)  Why were you late this morning?  The traffic was bad.
