Soap operas

Valentine�s Day

It�s the time of the year when couples (0) show (show) their love for each other by sending cards, flowers and chocolates. B ut Valentine�s D ay is not only about showing love: in recent years it (1) (become) big business. Last year in the UK alone, more than 20 million pounds (2) (spend) onflowers, and in the United States people (3) (pay) over 1 billion dollars to buy chocolates.
