HONEY BEES

Honey bees� social insects. There� different types� bees: drones, workers� queen bees. They live together� a beehive. The work divided between� bees. The queen is� biggest bee in the colony. She �the only bee that lays eggs. Sometimes a queen can lay 3000 eggs in� single day. Worker bees� female but do� lay
eggs. A colony can have 50,000 to 60,000 workers. Workers give food�
the queen and the babies. Some workers build the honeycomb�and store food. Older workers collect the food� the flowers and make the honey.Drones male bees. They� very big eyes. Drones don�t collect food from flowers or work� the hive. But life isn�t all good! When� isn�t enough food or when� is cold the workers push them� of the hive and they die.
