Hi John,

How are things going there?   We’re all fine and my mum sends her love.  We’re so pleased you’ll be able to over for New Year’s Eve!  We can’t wait you again!  Dad is going  fireworks and we’ve arranged a meal in mum’s favourite restaurant.

At the moment we’re enjoying a few days off work.  The real reason is that we need shopping but I think we need first!  It’s been such a busy month at work and I don’t want tired at Christmas.  We’re also hoping  Aunt Anne next week before we go back to work, but it depends if there snow or not.  It’s quite difficult to get to her house when there is snow or ice!  Usually she persuades until Spring, when the weather has improved.  She says she will come us soon, but I’ve waited for the last 10 years and she’s still never seen our new house!  Yes, I know she intends , and I’m sure one day she will.

Oh, let me know when your flight arrives and I’ll mum collect you from the airport.  We will try right outside the terminal so you don’t have to walk too far.  I know how lazy you are! ;-)

Have a great Christmas and see you on the 31st!

Steph
