This is an introductory (pre writing) exercise to teaching students write step by step instructions; making a sandwich.In this exercise, Students are exposed to the vocabulary needed. Teacher can then move on to focussing on connectors, firstly, and then, after that and then get students write a step by step instruction on Mr Beanīs fish sandwich! Nice activity! (I found the questions in the present simple and the answers in the present continuous a little bit confusing for students... I donīt know... maybe it is just me!! In France, it is so hard to make students understand the difference between these two tenses!)
