SONG. Pearl Jam Last Kiss - audio / visual word discrimation and past simple
THUMBNAIL PREVIEW LACKS PICTURES.
1. Listen to the song and choose the correct option (the options look or sound alike, it helps the students work on phonetics as well as on the past simple tense!) 2. Write the words of the song corresponding to the picture (to help them understand the story). I took pictures from the teen series "the OC" after having scene a video on youtube made by a fan with Pearl Jams song in the background.
Not very funny lyrics, but one of the best songs to teach the past simple as the tense to use to tell a story.

This is a listening/reading activity designed for elementary students as it is fairly easy. The song is currently #2 in uSA and UK top-ten charts and should motivate most teenagers. There is a pre-listening activity as well. Hope you like it!
